This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (the “Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Redevelopment of 75-81 Melbourne Drive: New Fire Hall, Renovation (Re-purposing) of Existing Fire Hall and Site Upgrades, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). In 2018, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (the Town) Council endorsed a report for the redevelopment of 75-81 Melbourne Drive to support the growing population needs. The site at 75-81 is located in the urban part of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and is servicing three (3) operational groups: Police Station, Existing Fire Hall and the Water/Road Services Operations Building. The road services group also stores salt on the property within a salt dome. The Town is soliciting proposals from qualified design-build contractors to undertake completion of the design and then subsequent construction of the 29,700-square-foot new fire hall, renovation/re-purposing of the existing fire hall and site upgrades. |
