Pre-Bid Meeting

A non-mandatory meeting with bidders will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Bradford Library and Culture Centre. The meeting will consist of a presentation followed by questions and answers session.

Water and Wastewater Projects – 2019 RFPs

1. Professional Engineering Services for Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Upgrades

The services shall include project management, WPCP state of good repair analysis and recommendations, WPCP upgrades validation, a plant process optimization study plus design and construction services. 

The design and construction services shall be for upgrades to headworks building odour control, inlet screen, vortex grit chamber, alum dosing system (design, bid, build), digester / biosolids storage odour control and for a new sludge thickening system (design/build).

Anticipated RFP Issue Date:  September 2019

2. Professional Engineering Services for Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant Tertiary Treatment System

The services shall include project management plus design and construction services for a new Membrane Tertiary Treatment System.  The procurement of the construction contract shall be via a design/build process.

3. Professional Engineering Consultant Services for Installation of a Standby Generator at the Bradford Water Supply (Church Wells) Site

The engineering services will include project management, power brownouts investigations/analysis and recommendation, preliminary design, detailed design, tender period assistance, contract administration, site inspection during construction, commissioning and warranty period services.

4. Professional Engineering Consultant Services for Bradford Noble Drive Standpipe Exterior / Interior Refurbishment.

The engineering services will include project management, a public meeting, background investigations and testing, preparation of tender documents, tender period assistance, contract administration, site inspection during construction and warranty period services.

5. Professional Engineering Consultant Services for Bradford Water Supply and Transmission System Optimization Study

The engineering services will include project management, a Bradford Water Supply (production, storage, pumping, transmission and SCADA) System optimization study plus a state of good repair analysis and recommendations.
